We were recently in New Brunswick for a road-trip vacation, and enjoyed immensely the eastern coast of that Province. Especially wonderful was a boat tour out on a river that entered the ocean near a protected spit of land, upon which were seabirds aplenty, including common terns. These birds are on my top-ten* list: they fly so beautifully, and fish so furiously. It is marvelous to watch them, and at this place, there were hundreds – if not thousands – flying about.
